This freestanding sculptural piece was inspired by the large rock formations off the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It was made by cutting 3/8” wide strips of glass, assembling the strips on edge and then firing in the kiln. After the first firing, the piece is slumped into it’s S-shaped curve to allow it to stand upright.
